Cafés

One of the things that I actually like about living in LA is the scene, however cliche that may sound. I love exploring, seeing new places, people watching, and there is no where better to do that in LA than a restaraunt, specifically cafés, so I thought I'd share with you some of my favorite cafes in Southern California. Other than the crowd, they also happen to have amazing AMAZING food. Check it out!

First, I'll start off with Urth Caffe. Oh, what can I say, where do I begin. I personally found out about this place through the instagram of celebrity's that I follow.








They were constantly posting pictures there so I decided to check it out. They have many locations throughout Southern California, their most popular being on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. It is always packed. And by packed, I mean crowded. And by always, I mean at midnight. You can meet so many different kinds of people here, socialize, spot celebrities, catch up, you name it. It is definitely the place to go for people watching. I have also been to their other locations in downtown LA, Beverly Hills and Pasadena (which is BTW two stories and gorgeous) but the spot on Melrose is definitely a must see if your passing through LA. 

Anyways, on to their food.

It's all organic, healthy and delicious. They have a variety of options on their menu, including yummy breakfasts and delectable desserts. Their vegan cookies are to die for! All in all, one of my favorite places to go, eat and be seen. 

Another cafe that I love in Los Angeles is Joan's on Third.






It's seriously so cute and lovely and I adore it. They too have healthy, freshly made foods with a side of people watching. The inside of the cafe is like a little deli/bakery with lots of goodies. 

Since I don't live in the Hollywood Hills and can't pop down to either of those for a quick bite or drink, I found myself a great option a bit closer to home. It is called Twisted Sage Cafe.

I love this place because everything on the menu is fresh and hand made from scratch. Their food is delicious. While they may not have a huge crowd, they are always busy. My favorite part about this place is the seating area outside. I live near the mountains so when you are outside, it is all beautiful scenery, which adds so much to your dining experience. 

The last place I chose to share with you guys is Anastasia Cafe in Laguna Beach.





This place has such a beachy vibe and I love it. They have delicious, healthy food, and it's always tasty. I mean, who doesn't want to have waffles at 3pm? Breakfast for lunch anyone? After all thedelicious food you eat, you can head over for a hike, hit the beach or do various activities in this stunning beach town. Enjoy!

    Wow, definitely seems like a celebrity hot spot!! If I lived in LA I would definitely go check it out. The food and drinks look so yummy!

    Def a must see. Wow food porn and I am a foodie and dont mind at all. So I am curious, did you see any celebs? I am a big fan of that green tea drink and my fav is that sweet and chewy gelatinous pearls at the bottom, Sure we can follow each other.     The bubble tea from Urth Cafe looks amazing, and the food from Joan's on Third looks absolutely delicious! I love that at all these cafes in LA, you can always sit outside and eat---that's probably my favorite part of any cafe: outdoor seating! If I ever go to sunny LA, I might have to check one of these out---I'm really not all about crowded places, but a celebrity sighting at Urth Cafe might be worth it!
